A lil love story
Our love story goes back more than a decade. Introduced by friends in a college hallway, we orbited each other for years, growing from acquaintances to close friends.
A late night out and a missed connection led to sparks of unearthed feelings. Taylor made the first move, calling to profess her love. Bobby followed by taking a flight to visit her days later. Together,
we’ve never looked back.
Over the next five years, Seattle became the backdrop to our growing romance. Nourished by live music, dive bars, and playing in the water, we learned what life could be like together.
Fate sent us to Portland, a move that let us start fresh in a new place. Three years in, we’ve built a life that excites and challenges us nearly every day.
We can’t wait to share it with you.

And now, our other favorite love stories...

Nathan Miller
Officiant
When you go through First Communion together, who makes more sense as your officiant? Let’s just say we go back. A sleepover featuring Little Caesars, Tony Hawk ultimate grind cheats, and J-Kwon’s Tipsy solidified our friendship that’s grown for nearly twenty years.
Going back that long you meet family, extended family, and then some. Without Nate, our love story might not have been a love story. He's basically how Taylor and I were first introduced to each other.
Nate is one of the best humans we know. Full stop. And, I think it's safe to say, we had to be the three of us before Bobby and I could be the two of us. The one, single person I frantically called before I made the call to Bobby. Nate's seen us through it all.
He shares our love of mail, perhaps even influenced it? My favorite pen pal. The BEST gift giver. He lives for the tiny in between moments, paying attention, finding beautiful ways to bring them to life -always expertly packaged. Never missing a detail, his thoughtfulness is unmatched.
The defacto photo-horticulture-design director in our life, he’s one of the most sincere people in this world. Hometown, college town, separate towns, Nards is our guy. Before we were ever engaged, we already knew this man would be the person to marry us.
Brooke Jorde
Maid of Honor
Brooke and I are seven years apart. In teenage years that's
basically half your life. I might've even cried (not happy tears) when my parents told me I’d be getting a little brother. Surprise!
Brooke is the funniest person you wish you knew.
She has a heart the size of Texas and a stone-cold, dont-give-a-fuck attitude all at the same time. She will drag your ass, if you deserve it,
but is always so on point you’ll be laughing too.
Age has offered us more opportunities to grow in our sisterhood and by golly, we're seizing them. Am I the older or younger sister? Sometimes it's hard to tell. Nobody in this world knows me like Brooke does, works harder than Brooke does, cares to the level that Brooke does.
Total Maid of Honor material.
The gal loves to yap, has the memory of an elephant,
despises the sound of chewing, and will be your biggest fan.
Yep, that’s our gal.

Dalin Klompien
Best Man
Two weeks into meeting each other, Dalin jumped in my Buick and we roadtripped for a dream concert. Surprise to absolutely no one, it was blink-182.
That setup a decade of living together on and off across three separate locations eventually landing in Seattle. We became real-real adults together. Lover of a good sitcom or love story, Dalin’s always got a one-liner ready at the hip. He’s been keeping us laughing for years.
That said, keep it on the down low, it’ll go to his head.
Sydney Lyon
Bridesmaid
While Sydney and I met in college, we didn't become close until well after school. With the connection of being Fraternity Sweethearts, of course we key keyed, were cool, blah blah, but it wasn’t until we were both single girls living in Boise that we really started to get to know each other. A slow burn that only grew with time.
She has the sharpest wit. Is well travelled. Chill as hell. Savvy as all get out. Down home and uptown all at the same time. You might catch her sporting Extra Tuffs in one moment, heels in the next, and think nothing of it.
She's a living, breathing swiss army knife.
And if that's not enough, Sydney is down for anything especially when it involves mischief and willy nilly. One of the best people to cause trouble with.
I can tell her anything without fear of judgement, knowing she’ll listen and tell me whatever it is I need to hear with a healthy dose of humor. A real skill.
What can't she do?! Sydney is true blue.

Groomsman
Jacob Kartes
So a couple of only-children decide they want to share
their toys, find each other, and decide life’s better with friends. Well, something like that.
It didn’t take long for me to realize, Jacob is the kind of guy to keep in your life and keep ‘em tight. Kind, determined, brilliant, and an absolute dork. Find him talkin’ hoops or the intricacies of Jack White’s studio setup just past the bar. He’s been on speed-dial for years.
Hillary Jorde
Lisa Rose
Bridesmaid
I do not know life without Hillary Jorde. @dancingdiva44
The first person I’d call in a crisis. My business partner (are you in need of a birdhouse?). Favorite errand buddy. Original creative partner. Coolest older cousin anyone could ever grow up with. Between fashion shows, music video shoots, hours-long phone calls perusing every. single. page of the JC Penney catalog, our antics wholeheartedly shaped who I am today.
I’ll be forever indebted to her for introducing me to SNL and Austin Powers, amongst a million other things giving me street cred at Templeview Elementary. I know the world is wondering how I got to be such a baddie, well, it's Hillary.
She’s a bad bitch, the best mother, my first ride or die, and my Alaskan alter ego thanks to her extra drivers license. Salt of the earth. She’s as grounded as they come.

Groomsman
Chance Muntean
What can you say about a person who’s been by a ride-or-die since Napster? Chance has been in my life since VHS tapes at Great American Video. Cruising on BLM backroads, toilet papering frenemies, or just hanging out in a kitchen until 3AM, Chance has always been there.
Welcoming Mayla into the world, Chance & Brooke made me a Godfather.
Don't play games, she rules.
Lisa Rose
Olivia Bell
Miss Olivia Charlie Bell.
Introduced through our beloved, Emma McAleer, (see below) Olivia and I were on the fringes for years. Another slow burn? Hmm!
A few random nights lead our curiosity to an eventual Seattle hang involving a 3,000 piece puzzle, (Spongebob disguised as a Where's Waldo) Taco Bell, and a Broad City binge. Gal after my own heart.
Olivia is downright cool. She's in the know. An absolute pop culture queen. Driven and independent. Loves to travel -we have so many gals trips ahead of us! Our conversations know no depth. She's one of the best, most understanding humans to talk to.
Impeccable sense of humor. Incredibly kind. She cares deeply for her people and always, no matter what, shows up for them.
Bridesmaid

Groomsman
Griffin May
Griffin has been in our life since he and Taylor started freshman year together. No surprise, their musical prowess pulled them close. One fateful night a friend introduced Bobby with one simple line: “Hey, this guy likes blink-182.”
Ties were bound, bonds were forged, and ties to Spokane kept us tight long after college. A steady hand with a light touch, Griff's got a heart the size of Talk about a hole in one.
Ashley Jones
Emma McAleer
Bridesmaid
In college, I got a job tending bar at the coolest watering hole in Moscow, ID. Live music? A little grit? You know I'm in. Emma, calm, cool, and collected, was a fixture at the joint. She let me know early on that she didn’t make friends with her coworkers.
What a professional.
After a chance night out that led to a trespassing ticket, (me, not her) we fostered a tiny bond that bloomed into one of my closest friendships. Together, we became the infamous, Ladies of John’s Alley.
She's as loyal as they come and has seen me through life's biggest moments. A low key visit to Seattle where I stayed with my good friend, Bobby. She called it from the get go. Her sixth sense is unparalleled, I would never bother trying to pull a fast one on her.
The queen of sentimental nostalgia. Full of hidden sass. Emma is the ultimate hype woman with a heart of pure gold.

Groomsman
Cole Lohman
Whether it's a quarter mile away or halfway across the world, Cole has always stayed close to us. Bound together by a college big brother program, Cole and I landed on separate ends of the West Coast after school.
No matter the distance, Cole’s contagious energy has a way of influencing you. Responsible, yet on our shoulder as you
turn the volume louder.
Lisa Rose
Cooper Sampson
Groomsman
As a patron, can bartenders be your friends?
Well, against all odds and prior accusations,
I’ve got more than got a few of them in my life.
Here’s the thing, Cooper was never just a cool guy tending bar,
he got down on life with me. Punk rock, existential pondering, and good at making each other laugh, we've both always known Taylor was cool as hell.
It can be the simple things that flame of friendship.
We almost had it in Seattle, but life had other plans.
Plus 1-5 ain't a bad drive.
