So you're comin' to PDX
We're so pumped to host everyone in our city! It's been a short time for us, but a good time nonetheless. And we want you to have a good time while you're here too. By all means, soak in the greenery, the crisp-fall-PNW-air, the Portland food scene(!), what have you, the world is your oyster. We'll share a list of our favorite spots soon to kickstart your planning. Or fuck it, don't wait for us, go rogue.
Where should you stay?
We've got blocks cookin' at these two spots in Portland, but do you! The Grand Stark is super cute and pretty damn close to the venue, while the Hampton is a stone's throw from our home, in the heart of the Pearl District.

If you're looking to meander and roam about the city, wheels would be very helpful. With this, we strongly advise you to be mindful of parking and not leave anything in your parked car. If you are driving and staying at either of the hotels blocked above, they have parking options or secured valet for an additional charge.
Last thing! A section of I5 will be closed throughout the weekend due to a construction project. It shouldn't affect our plans, though it's unclear what the traffic patterns will look like. Here's more information on the construction blocks, including a map, and alternate routes.
No car for you? Expect to uber a fair amount. Though, if you're comfortable with taking the bus or train, Portland has a killer public transit system at your fingertips. You'll want to download the Hop Fastpass app, add to your virtual wallet, and you're good to *hop* on the bus or the Max.
Need a smaller option to pop over, in and out? Portland is very bike friendly, which is code for very scooter friendly. Scoots and ebikes are abundant (Lime, Spin, BIKETOWN), especially in The Pearl District and near the waterfront. Go off. Feel the wind in your hair.
